Info
The present owner found the Onderneming laying as scrap in a corner of the harbour in Copenhagen. He immediately recognised the robust lines of a koftjalk. In her former life the ship fetched oranges from North Africa and transported stones from Belgium to England. De Onderneming is a part of the Frisian Sailing Company for several years. A koftjalk differs from an ordinary tjalk by the heavier construction, high bulwarks, the beam and the heavy rigging. The conversion has left the charms of the original vessel intact. Because of the high deck rails the Onderneming is well suited for sailing with young children.
